Welcome to 612 Mcintosh Rd and this gem of a bungalow. Located on a quiet street on the south side of Mayland Heights, this home offers tremendous accessibility for all - Less than a 10-minute drive to Downtown, a short skip to Deerfoot Trail and a 5 minute walk to both the French Immersion Elementary & Junior high schools. This property has been lovingly maintained and updated throughout the years including vinyl windows throughout. The renovated kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, loads of cabinets, and durable flooring is ready for family meal prep. The living room is bright with a great view out the west facing window, has a corner fireplace and original hardwood floors. These floors are carried through to the 3 bedrooms, currently complete with carpet. The main bathroom is deluxe with its heated floor, heated towel rack, concrete countertop and exceptional tile work. The lower level hosts a massive rec room with corner bar, a full bathroom, laundry room, loads of storage and a high efficiency furnace. There is space to add a bedroom should that be your desire. Out back is a handsome no maintenance brick patio with covered portion, built in BBQ with stone counters, and plenty of storage for all your grilling needs. This is an amazing place to host gatherings, with the bar fridge, firepit, and a pond, complete with cat tails, that once hosted turtles. There is a Double Garage & adjoining parking pad, fit for a couple of vehicles or for your RV/Trailer. The raised garden boxes are ready for your veggie and herb harvest, and the steel shed offers plenty of storage. This is such a great place to host friends & family and wonderful property to call home. (id:65883)
